We are committed to protecting the rights of our authors, artists, translators, and publishing partners.
If you would like to reproduce, quote, translate, adapt, distribute, or otherwise reuse material published by Labyrinth International Press, please request permission before using the material.
When Permission May Be Required
Permission may be required to reuse:
- Text extracts, chapters, poems, or other written material
- Illustrations, photographs, maps, tables, or cover artwork
- Material in books, journals, course materials, websites, exhibitions, podcasts, videos, or promotional campaigns
- Translations, adaptations, audiobook editions, dramatic works, screen adaptations, or game-related uses
- Content intended for commercial distribution or large-scale reproduction
Please note that crediting the source does not, by itself, replace the need for permission.

- Your name, organisation, and contact details
- Title, author, ISBN, and publication date of the original work
- A precise description of the material you wish to use, including page numbers or image references

Please provide as much detail as possible. Incomplete requests may take longer to process.
Response Time and Fees
We aim to respond within [4–6 weeks]. Permission is granted only in writing and only for the specific use described in our reply.
Fees may apply depending on the material, territory, format, print run, and intended use. Any permission granted may be subject to specific credit lines and other conditions.
Do not proceed with publication, distribution, or reuse until you have received written permission.
Third-Party Rights
Some material in our publications may be owned by authors, artists, estates, photographers, licensors, or other third parties. In these cases, Labyrinth International Press may not be able to grant permission directly. Where possible, we will advise you on the appropriate rights holder to contact.
Open Licences and Public-Domain Material
Certain content may be available under a Creative Commons licence or may be in the public domain. Please check the copyright page or relevant licence notice in the publication before reuse.
Where a Creative Commons licence applies, you must comply with its terms, including any requirements for attribution, non-commercial use, or restrictions on adaptations.
For Authors and Contributors
Authors and contributors are responsible for obtaining written permission to use third-party material in their submissions, including text extracts, images, maps, tables, lyrics, poems, and identifiable photographs. Please retain copies of all permissions and provide complete credit information with your final materials.
